Welcome to the Klontz Family genealogy archive. This site serves as the digital companion to the family history book, "The Klontz Family" (First Edition, 2024) authored by Tiger C.S. Nicholaas. Across 14 generations stretching from 1704 to 2026, this tree maps our family’s journey from its earliest ancestral homeland - the tri-border region of Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany - across the Atlantic. Today, the vast majority of our documented family lines descend from Valentin Klontz (1828-1861), through his children: Catharina, Anna, John, and Mathias. Most descendants today live in the United States and Canada.
